Sharing this reflection here as I also did earlier in the Men's Collective as it's come up with two of my clients in just the past two days (been quite the theme this week!) who were unclear about the next steps they intended to take (and their reasons why) on their life path, and I thought it would be a great thing to reflect on together ๐Ÿ˜Š From the moment we're born, we're taught, conditioned, programmed with images of what success looks like. We perpetually pursue metrics that society has deemed "important," all the while never taking time to dive in and truly understand who we are at a core level, what's meaningful to us INDIVIDUALLY, and what our OWN version of success actually looks like. It's often when we hit those metrics, and find ourselves still feeling UN-successful i.e. without meaning and fulfilment, that we THEN begin to question why we even pursued them to begin with. So let's play with it! What DOES make one "successful"? More importantly, how do YOU define and measure it (if there's a measure at all) for YOUR-self? And IS there actually a universal way in which we can identify "success"? If so, what?! Food for thought. Share those tasty tidbits below!
