Let's not lose sight of our gratitude and intentions here! They need not be crazy, and in fact, mine today are somewhat intertwined. I give tremendous gratitude for the warm cup of coffee I had this morning as I sat outside soaking in the sun before getting my day going. Those are truly blissful moments for me. My intention: To be more intentional about finding and creating those moments for myself throughout the day, rewire the brain in doing so, and thereby make it my default state to look for the beauty in each moment in my life rather than the overwhelming negativity and threat that evolution programmed us to seek out (80-90% of our conscious perception is just THAT). At one point it kept us alive. But now, we must intentionally shift our lens and get ourselves out of chronic survival mode. It's definitely a practice, but I'm intending to put 100% of myself into it.
