An evening reflection. How should we speak to ourselves? When our inner dialogue plays 24/7, which part of ourselves is listening? How are we responding? Deep within each of us is an inner child. This inner child will spontaneously experience subconscious feelings, thoughts, emotions, and dormant memories that can be spontaneously triggered, causing feelings of sadness, depression, anxiety, despair, anger, and impulsiveness (to name a few.) Here are a few ways to speak to your inner child. My favorite on this list is to "Speak Gently" to yourself, which is something many of us fail to do. Which one resonates with you?
