Just a moment of beauty and rest. Peonies cannot open without the ants. They literally work the buds open. While this bud’s workforce was out on a break a honey bee came to visit. It hunkered down under the petal that was starting to open and then could go no further. Everything is about right timing. The ant went on a break and in this photo from my garden can be seen returning. The bee is lured by the sweetness of the flower, its little bee butt can be seen tucked into the top petal. When the time is right this flower will open. A process that is about timing and everyone being given the space and time they need to fully attend to their step in the process. Nature consistently offers the teachings and wisdom. When was the last time you were able to rest in the beauty of nature’s lessons?
